Mulai dari sini aku baru sadar ternyata English nya ini menganut sistem US bukan British. Color = US, Colour = UK

Ya, memang. Kantor utama Duolingo ada di Amerika Serikat.

Mau nanya, apa bedanya pemakaian like dalam arti suka dan seperti.. mohon bantuannya?

(to) like = kata kerja = suka (I like cats = Saya suka kucing).

like = kata ganti = seperti (I am like my father = Saya seperti ayah saya.)

Wouldn't 'om' also be a valid translation of uncle?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/JesicaMoudy

Hi there! Yes, 'om' is a valid one. But the word 'paman' is more mostly used in a formal context than the word 'om'. I hope it helps :)

"Om" is not in the KBBI, is it slang (Bahasa Gaul)?

Om is in KBBI V, but defined as "sapaan kepada saudara laki-laki ayah atau ibu". It is a colloquial (bahasa percakapan).

Kalau buat belajar pilih English UK or US, help me, please,?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/NugrohoE

hmm... itu sih tergantung sama pilihanmu sendiri. tapi saya lebih suka English US, soalnya lebih mudah dimengerti daripada English UK.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/aulia.syifa.r

Keduanya sama saja, namun kebanyakan tempat les dan sekolah menggunakan US.

Mana saja boleh. TOEFL itu English US, IELTS itu English UK. I prefer US because the test is cheaper :)

I wrote "Om saya menyukai warna itu" and Duo told me it was wrong, but that I should write: "Om saya senang warna itu". Why?

Senang = bukan "happy"? "Happy" = adjective, not a verb! So I don't understand. And why not "senang dengan"?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/aulia.syifa.r

You're right! It should be "menyenangi" or "senang dengan".

Uncle = Paman/ Om

But people said: "Om telolet om...!!!" Never said "Paman telolet paman...!!!"
