How do I receive skill points from translating texts in the immersion part?

Hello,

I just translated a few articles in the Immersion part and received two different kinds of skill points that are not added to my normal Spanish skill points at all.
Is this supposed to be this way?

You get skill points for each translation. You also get a translation point (as you can see in your stream after translating), but we don't currently surface the total- something we'll probably bring back soon.
