How do you do the Translation exercise?

I've been offered the option of doing a translation in French but can't figure out how to type my translation. Every time I click on the original article it tells me the answer and that's not what I want? Any instructions anywhere for how to do this exercise?

Do you mean immersion? The sentences that have yet to be translated are blue. Other than that not sure what you mean.

Yes, DaveYoung1, thank you. That's what I meant. I just got a pop up to try a translation exercise and wasn't sure how to approach it as I couldn't find anywhere to 'write' my translation. Thank you for your help.
