French Movies

Does any one know where I can get French movies with the option for either French or English subtitles. I'm particularly looking for kids movies that are easy to understand but still enjoyable (such as Disney). Thanks for your help!

Netflix has French language movies, but the subtitles are only in English. TED talks have French subtitles. And if you look around YouTube, you can find a lot of stuff. Try checking out your local library, you might be surprised by the resources they have available.

We've bought a heap of kid's movies from Amazon and they all have both French and English audio and subtitles for my kids who speak French. Kirikou is my favourite.

Les Intouchables can be a good option if you're going to watch it with French subtitles, since it has lots of slangs. It's one of the best and funniest French films I've already watched.

La grande séduction is also an awsome film, although it's Canadian. The accent here is really different than everything you've already listened before, with lots of English words along the French conversations, but it's a really funny film.

look on youtube.... you can find all sorts of french version music videos, short kids films, and other things. I started listening to the french version of let it go (libérée délivrée) and i pretty much know the whole thing. Hope this helps!

I bought La Petite Sirène (the little mermaid) on dvd from amazon.fr. I really love it (the songs are amazing- "Sous l'océan"), but it's annoying to watch with the French subtitles on because (except for during the songs) half the time what they are actually saying does not match the words on screen. I've got Les Aristochats to try next :) I'd be grateful if anyone has any other free online sources to share!
