Word strength. Is there an error in the calculation?

Referring to the screenshot linked below, why is the overall strength of "Jornal" at two bars, when both of its forms "jornal" and "jornais" both have strength of four bars?

Also if a sentence features the word "jornal" and I get it wrong for some reason not related to the word, eg typed "ela" instead of "ele", does this incur some sort of negative feedback on the word "jornal" as well? In an ideal setup it wouldn't, but the fact that it suggests I am weak with a simple word like "jornal" makes me suspect that it does.

there is probably some errors in the sight. also, some computers are slower and don't show all the strength bars that should be their.
