How to Access student trees from Duo Classroom?
It'd be nice to be able to see student trees. Also, this request has been out there for at least 5 years, but I haven't seen a Duolingo response.
And, some of us have offered to pay for this, and other, improvements.
Don't get me wrong, I love that Duolingo is free. However, if paying for some classroom improvements both makes my life easier AND helps subsidize free users, I'm onboard.
In the meantime, If I missed a response, please direct me to it. Even if the answer is "not in your lifetime".
Thank you. For adults, this is an effective work around. It's not as efficient or as effective as looking at the tree, but it works.
However, for elementary school children, I recommend they uncheck the box that says "make my profile public". And, that means, duome can't collect their data.
And, again, looking at the tree is faster.
But, again, for children, duome isn't the solution I'm looking for.
Then, the "course progress view" (https://schools.duolingo.com/classroom/nnnnnnn/course_progress)
is the only option: https://forum.duolingo.com/comment/6472608?comment_id=24392979
Again, thank you for your response. You are very kind, and I appreciate your time.
This also doesn't get me to where I want.
I'm wondering about contacting Duolingo and writing my own script.
At this point, that seems the best option. After all, this request has been out there for at least 5 years, nobody from Duolingo appears to have ever responded, and, it also appears, there was once a script that did this. So, there's precedent.
