"Bu toil leam an fhidheall."

Translation:I would like the fiddle.

This came up in "Countries" and I spent ages trying to figure out which country "an Eadhal" was!

Is Bu toil leam an expression of desire or a statement. Could you say Bu toil leam an caise in order to get some? Or are you simply saying that if some appeared you'd enjoy it?
