So the elephant does speak Danish...

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/bjarkehs

Maybe it says hello in sign language?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GeniusJack

Danish sign language?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/bjarkehs

Imagine how easy it would be, you have all the easy grammar, but none of the pronunciation :P

DSL lol. My friends were with my on learning Danish for a while, then they starting learning ASL (American Sign Language). I told them that we were much more likely to run into a native Danish speaker then we are to run into a deaf person (which is less than 1% of the US population). They didn't like this statement. I have no friendsXDXDXD I hoped you laughed when reading this :D

Ive never run into a danish person. But ive met several deaf people (by chance). Just saying :)

Naive Danish speakers are significantly less than 1% of the US population. I've met plenty of deaf people, and I could really make use of asl now that I work in food service, but never met a native Danish speaker.

Hello to you too, elephant.

Denmark's animals are evolving too quickly!

"D" stands for Dansk, also stands for Dr. Dolittle.

Hello Mr. Elephant! How are you?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/zarhop18

Elephant: Good! and you?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/AlexErdman

I'm happy to have some useful vocab.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Cecily2909

This is less surprising to me after my last sentence, 'The duck says good morning'.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Darchy77

But... Hej = Hello , and also "Hi", isn't? I've learned "hi" along time ago, at school :)

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/RowanM.1

And the duck replies "Godmorgen". Just another day in Denmark.

Thus begins the epic saga of the Duolingo elefant! An elefant that, in the following lessions, will drink beer, go to the cinema, swim in a swimming pool, read a newspaper, and even EAT YOU! So prepare yourself to have a steadfast companion through the whole Danish course of Duolingo, but beware... ELEFANTANER SPISER JER.

Maybe it is someone with the Danish Order of the Elephant

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/amitshahin

Hello Mr. Elephant!

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/ioncoptu

Why the elafant speaks Danish

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/HarryRadzuan

Why is 'hi' wrong?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/RyagonIV

It should be okay as well, it has about the same colloquiality.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/paige31305

This is so hard :-(

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/RyagonIV

Giv ikke op. :)

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Anastasyah28

Some word combinations are really interesting on here... They are grammatically correct, but they make no sense. AI still have big limitations

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/RyagonIV

The sentences were created by humans. :)
