Imagine how easy it would be, you have all the easy grammar, but none of the pronunciation :P
DSL lol. My friends were with my on learning Danish for a while, then they starting learning ASL (American Sign Language). I told them that we were much more likely to run into a native Danish speaker then we are to run into a deaf person (which is less than 1% of the US population). They didn't like this statement. I have no friendsXDXDXD I hoped you laughed when reading this :D
Ive never run into a danish person. But ive met several deaf people (by chance). Just saying :)
Naive Danish speakers are significantly less than 1% of the US population. I've met plenty of deaf people, and I could really make use of asl now that I work in food service, but never met a native Danish speaker.
This is less surprising to me after my last sentence, 'The duck says good morning'.
But... Hej = Hello , and also "Hi", isn't? I've learned "hi" along time ago, at school :)
You just told me that elephants DO NOT speak Danish, but now it just said hi? Hmm.
Well that had to be something to see! Or maybe talking elephants aren't all that rare in Denmark?
Thus begins the epic saga of the Duolingo elefant! An elefant that, in the following lessions, will drink beer, go to the cinema, swim in a swimming pool, read a newspaper, and even EAT YOU! So prepare yourself to have a steadfast companion through the whole Danish course of Duolingo, but beware... ELEFANTANER SPISER JER.
Some word combinations are really interesting on here... They are grammatically correct, but they make no sense. AI still have big limitations
