Irish speaking exercises!
I just did an Irish lesson, and there were some speaking exercises — slightly strange, given that Danish, Dutch and even apparently Portuguese don't have them. Slight problem, though: when I try to say anything, it just picks it up as a stream of English words (like a problem I sometimes have with the Spanish speech recognition), however hard I try to mimic the voice. Is anyone else having this problem (or, for that matter, getting speaking exercises)?
Edit: Also getting speaking exercises for Danish. Of the two in the exercise I just did, one picked me up (after about 7 attempts), the other didn't.
Edit 2: Now getting them for Dutch. Still not being picked up, though.

Then I would suggest that you automatically re-enable microphone for everyone in the experimental group, otherwise some people would never even know speaking lessons exist. :)
I'm curious though, the web-speech api only uses the browser to get its feedback and doesn't need to request data from Duolingo right? If so in compatible browsers it should greatly improve its performance.
