Irish Audio Mix-Ups

Dia daoibh,

As many of you noticed, there is an issue with some of our recordings where they play with the incorrect sentence. We know this can be frustrating, but please bare with us!

This issue is especially prominent in certain skills (including the food skill). We have compiled a list of all the sentences where this is happening and we have passed it on to DuoStaff. We have heard back from them, so here is the diagnosis:

  • It is not going to be difficult to fix
  • It may take a few days due to the size of the problem

EDIT: A large portion of these have now been fixed! Thanks for your patience while the last few are being corrected.

I will update you again when the issue is fixed, but for now:

Slán!

I love how you care about the course so much I'm like actually thinking of learning Irish, but then I remember I barely manage with French, and it's like 90% the same as Spanish haha

This is random, but... I like pie :) Thanks for notifying me. I must begin to dive deeper into Irish sooner or later. I don't want to have 14 XP forever!

It looks like I was very hungry when I posted this. Sorry.

Did they just stop bothering to fix this issue by the time they got to the second half of the course? Because it's a year later and like half the audio is wrong in several lessons.

I agree. I am finding these issues in the latter part of the course and the note said it should be fixed months ago.....

They are in the process of re-recording all the audio, supposedly, but it's unclear when exactly that will be finished...
