I wrote the sentence: He drinks the juice and eats the fish. Shouldn't that also be correct?

Ok, so there was this scene on "After the Wedding" (with Mads Mikkelsen - who, by the way, I'd love to hear pronouncing everything here lol) where the girl asks her mother if she wants anything for morgenmad. The mother replies a "juice, not a saft (had the subtitles on) - something which was or sounded like the actual word in English. Dear natives: Was it just a case of Anglicism (and is it common) or is there an equivalent in Danish I still haven't come across? Tak :)
