I'm guessing "hundred" in Danish means "hundred" lol.
So century = hundred years = århundred.
Bonus points for guessing what millennium is if I tell you thousand is tusind ;D
Would it be årtusind? :o
I wish i had made that obvious connection prior to missing this question like 18 times
It seems an e is missing -- shouldn't it be århundrede?
Both spellings are acceptable, and mean the same.
Tak for svaret. :)
Do you even pronounce!?
Cyclists use the term century for a one hundred mile ride. Kilometers is a metric century.
Why is "århundred" pronounced like there is a meatball stuck in your throat?
