Assuming that I just arrived at a party (for example) could I then say "chi altro c'è?" to ask "who else is here?"

Why is "who other is there?" a wrong translation?

The "c'è" idiom translates to "there is" in English, or "is there" in a question.

Can't this also be translated as "which other one is there" or "what else is there". ?
