After about a year...back to practicing!
Okay, so after letting all my skills in Spanish slowly go down to one or two bars...I said to myself yesterday that I would get back on track and begin to practice again. Slowly but surely I worked all my skills back up to their complete bar numbers and for the first time in a year, I've passed the latest skill in the tree and begun to progress again. I think I'm going to keep doing it from here-on-out. :)
Me desean suerte! :)
I took a break for the summer (didn't really want to but was just too busy) and am starting to work my way back up. I've forgotten a lot but it's amazing how easily it comes back.
It should not take you too long as Spanish is the easiest language in my opinion.
good to hear, never stop developing yourself!
kinda the same thing happened to me. had to give a 1-1.5 months break because of being extremely busy in the office and yesterday I started to feel like I was losing a good part of me. spent the whole night practicing the old skills and now I just woke up, got my coffee and starting the day with two new lessons; verbs: present 2 & determiners. this will be a good sunday! vamos!
This was me today!! Congrats! Only I was only inactive for four months and my reasoning was so I can prepare for Spanish in school
Ah, great! Duolingo is a great supplement to Spanish at school. What school year are you in, and what level of Spanish (first, second, third, etc. year?) I'm in Spanish 3 (3rd year) and I've been able to understand all of the content of the course so far thanks to Duolingo.
I'm in my second year in high school and I'm taking Spanish 3. My teacher recommended that my class should use this to practice. Most ignored their account, but I decided that I wanted to stay committed until I learn the language so I can be somewhat fluent
Ah, I see :) Well, I'll follow you and you can follow me (if you want) and we can help each other learn! ¡Buena suerte en sus aspiraciones!
