This should be correct: You loved me once, but you love me no more. It is common poetic english

Man, Duolingo really does play the guilt card a lot.
Is it just me or do others have problems with hearing the difference between 'elskede' and 'elsker' as well?
I can barely understand anything in Danish.
Like most things Danish it seems, it's subtle, but I do hear a difference.
What a sad story :(
