My Norwegian friend who just moved to Denmark always complains about the lack of Danish mountains.
I had a friend who moved to Norway, and complained about the lack of good food.
Reminds me of this funny little story from Scandinavia and the World:
sad but true. have been living in dk for 10 months now and getting extremely sick of all these endless fields of grass and corn and whatever. maybe it is just by contrast with Norway where i lived before moving to Denmark.
Guess its just a matter of perspective, when my dutch daughter came to Denmark first time at age 5, she was amazed by all the mountains, and wondered if we could go skiing there in the winter.
I'm sure you like the beer though.
After spending some time in Denmark, even a hill seems like a mountain.
Himmelbjerget, the tallest "mountain" in Denmark with an impressive height of 147 meters:
Himmelbjerget is not the tallest hill in Denmark, that would be Møllehøj (170,86 meters) unless you count the man made extension of Yding Skovhøj)
No actual mountains
No proper mountains, no real mountains...
På Nederlandene også ikke
even worse in NL :-)
Like there would be a fake one :))
Doesn't Denmark have any mountains made of Lego?
Yes, of course. It's in Legoland.
Can Amager Bakke count as an example of false mountains in Denmark?
There aren't - I think,it is perfect
