"An mhairteoil dhonn."

Translation:The brown beef.

In another question, I had to translate "the brown beef" into Irish. I put "An mhaiteoil dhonn" but was corrected to "An mhairteoil donn".

What is the correct answer? Is this an example of "DeNTaLS DoTS"? If yes, is "donn" the right answer then?

Thanks for your help!

Actually, "dentals" doesn't apply to attributive adjectives, so dhonn should be correct. Though you will sometimes hear it without it. It's just a bug.
