Immersion: Dealing with computer generated text

Some articles contain computer generated text, like view counts or links to comments. These don't add anything to the meaning of the article and I don't think they should be included in the translation. How about a feature to let us mark those sentences as irrelevant? If a sentence gets enough votes it could be hidden in the translation. What do you think?

Great idea. Some articles have the quote marks " on an individual line and they shouldn't be there but the program won't let you just enter a 'space', i.e. blank text.
