I finished the Spanish tree!
It took me 78 days starting from scratch, although I'm sure I'll have to keep at it for some time to come before it all completely sinks in. I'd say the time I spent on it was evenly divided between an Android app (commuting to work) and the Web.
I wanted to start learning Spanish for a while now and I finally picked up Duolingo while on vacation in Spain (searching for an app on Google Play). I find that the approach taken by Duolingo keeps one motivated not only to keep learning but also to do it regularly, with its bite sized lessons you can take while waiting for public transportation :)
I think it works best in combination with additional learning tools that explain the grammar behind the examples. I used: http://studyspanish.com/tutorial.htm
And a couple of dictionaries: http://www.spanishdict.com/ (most have very likely stumbled upon this one already)
On the phone: https://play.google.com/store/search?q=ascendoinc=apps
Podemos intentar :) No puedo responder rapidamente en los proximos dias, pero voy a tener más tiempo en breve.
Cómo fue eso? :)
Queras decir "Como es eso?" jeje ya estoy empezando a ayudarte creo :) Quiero decir que tu hables en tu idioma y yo hable en el mio y luego vamos cambiando. por ejemplo Tu: How are you? Yo: estoy bien y tu ? tu: I had a bad day :( Despues cambiamos. Tu:Como estas ? Yo: i'm good and you? Tu:Tuve un pesimo dia :( No se que te parece? Por cierto sigueme ya yo te sigo ;)
Gracias, probablemente voy a necesitar toda la ayuda que puedo conseguir :)
Maybe we can continue on your or my timeline?

Great job! Feels good to read others have achieved what I am trying to and motivates me to continue with my journey.
Not really. I also started from scratch. So the going's a bit slow. I am just past the second checkpoint.
Once you get the hang of it, you'll pick up the pace and finish in no time. On the other hand if you do more practice before moving on to new lessons, more of what you learn will actually stick :)
Felicitaciones! Es un bien cosa para terminar tu árbol. Buena suerte con español en el futuro! También, gracias por el sitios. Son buenos.
Do yo feel like you've "learned" spanish? Or atleast able to communicate? I'm wondering if this is really helping me...
