What between different glad and lykkelig?
Not a lot. Glad is more, well, "glad", while lykkelig can be translated as "blissful".
glad (глад) means hunger in Serbian, so I'll be sure to remember this! :)
I do not understand the prononciation of glad
Bultokki, it's similar to the pronunciation of the English "glad", but the 'd' sound at the end is replaced with a voiced 'th' sound, like in "this".
Why is the "a" sound in Han so very different from Glad (which sounds more like "au" sound to me...). Is there any way to know when to use which "a" sound when it appears in a word?
