I finished the Spanish Tree!!!
I've never posted on here before, but this is just a very happy moment for me that I wanted to share. It took me a long time(about 2 years) to finish with all the breaks and just out right forgetting to keep doing it to finish, but I've finally done it.
Thank you Duolingo for all the things you've taught me!
Congratulations!!! what a great achievment. Now for the practice!
Felicitationes with your Spanish tree! I'd better catch up with my Spanish - trying to finish the Objects skill and make myself do one of those long, monotonous (and at many times, boring) Verb: Present or Verb: [something else here] skills. Not putting any pressure on myself though, I'll try to take my time!
Also, nice to meet you! Isn't Duolingo just amazing with its community? :)
Congratulations! Hey, I have a question... you know how they say, "you can now understand X% of real Spanish text"? What % do they say now that you've finished the tree?
I don't exactly remember, but I think it was somewhere in the mid to high 60s.
To do that by level 13, did you go straight through without doing any of the "strengthening" when the circles lose their golden sheen? I'm at level 10, but I'm only a couple circles past the last checkpoint. But I do maintenance on my tree each day before moving on to new material, so it's always fully golden. To each his/her own, of course... just wondering.
Same here, I don't think I'm even half way and I'm already level 14. I have to do lots of work to keep it all in my head. Some people are good with languages and some people are good with other things like numbers. I'm definitely a numbers man but I am trying extremely hard to shove a language into my brain
