Why is "Hoop je daar te gaan" incorrect?


The naartoe part is missing, this cannot be left out. Hoop je daar naartoe te gaan? is correct. Alternatively you could also say Hoop je daarheen te gaan? And for both these examples both daar and er work, also jij, u and jullie all work as well, because there is no context in the English sentence.


"hoop jij ernaartoe te gaan" was not accepted: only solution given was "U hoopt..."
