Progress - Spanish

Those of you who have finished the tree or are finishing the tree soon. How is your spanish now. Has it helped (a lot, a little)? What supplements did you use? I really want to know because I really want to learn to speak fluently the best way I can. My international friends say they learned English through classes or TV/media. Any thoughts on that type of language learning? I am moving to California in a year after I graduate and I want to be able to speak both english and spanish, to give you an idea of my goal and motivation.

Hello. I am from Russia. Today I started to learn Spanish on duolingo, but I'm almost finished learning English on duolingo. I have been studying English for three hours per day (duolingo, engvid). Since more than six months. I think you'll get similar results from the duo. I hope I don't often make mistakes. Did you get me)))

Yeah, I got you. Thanks for the advice. I do not think they have something like engvid for spanish but I will keep looking. I am glad you are learning so well.

Yes, of course, they don't have the Spanish lessons, but I've already found a replacement for them. Spanish news. They speak very slowly, and it is very useful for beginners. If you are interested here is the link http://urlid.ru/byya You can install the app on your cell from app store or google play. Good luck!

To be able to converse you need to use additional resources to add vocabulary, listening, and speaking skills. People use TV, video, all sorts of things. It depends a lot on your own learning style. There are several threads here on other resources. If no one posts the links, let me know and I will find them for you. Most people say Duo is a 'good start' for being able to carry on a conversation in Spanish.
