I answered it what you see I know I missed the word do but how does do fit in with it?

remember in questions words like do/does become implied (not in the spanish but we add them in english). So if you were presented with: ¿Qué ves?, and if you know Qué = What and ves = you see (tu'), and it is a question, and we know "What you see?" is not good grammar, then adding "...do..." makes the most sense.

It needs to 'make sense' in English, so it must be "What do you see." "What you see" is not good English ;) You need to figure out 1) what the Spanish means and 2) turn it into sensible English.
