Save place in tree

If I am in the middle of a lesson, and I leave the lesson to look up a definition at another website, I have to start the lesson over when I come back to Duolingo. Is there some way I can save my place in the lesson? I use a Mac with Safari browser.

Safari supports tabs. Just make your search in another tab and you won't have to leave and restart your lesson.

In fact, all major browsers support multiple tabs and multiple windows.

When I first started with DL, I found this out and was very frustrated. Now I use a different tab, but still there are some times I forget. It can be frustrating to loose all your work.

Good point. Duolingo should save the current state in a cookie.
