difference "Neu" and "Nello" (Italian)

Does someone can explain me the difference between Neu and Nello, I still don't get it :/ Thanks guys!

I have never heard of neu, but nello = in the (where the noun is singular and starts with z or s+consonant). E.g. il orso è nello zoo.

Oh true, i meant "nel" vs "nello. So when do we use Nel?

Nel means the same (in the) but where the noun is singular masculine. E.g e.g il raggazo è nel letto.
