Nice if DL could detect English when Spanish expected

When DL expects me to type in the English translation, it will tell me if I type in the wrong language. Unfortunately, it does not detect when I type Spanish instead of English.

This is becoming a real pain to me. I am trying to understand spoken as well as written Spanish, so I turn away from the screen as the Spanish is being spoken. Sometimes, the program asks us to type what we hear, and other times to translate the text. Because I concentrate hard on what the speaker is saying, I forget to look at whether I should type Spanish or English.

I know what I'm doing sounds kind of silly, but I'm sure I'm not alone. Still, this is a fantastic program!

Hm, interesting! I will try turning away from the screen sometimes on Spanish-English translation questions to work on my listening.

Your suggestion for being able to detect English when Spanish is expected isn't a bad idea, but I don't think too many people do this and it would take a lot of time to code a fix to this problem, so I think they'd be better off spending that time in other ways.
