Browser Issue (Resolved)
Unfortunately, I'm not tech savvy enough to help you fix IE so it works better with Duolingo. Generally, Internet Explorer is the worst browser to use for Duolingo. If you haven't already, I would try downloading mozilla firefox (my preferred browser for Duolingo) or Chrome (many other people's preferred browser for Duolingo.) I hope that helps in some way at least. Good luck! :)
I disagree, IE is not the worst browser to use, its "modern HTML feature support" may be slightly lower than complete support, but "worst" is a bad overstatement (for almost all purposes it's no worse than some other browser). Geo 430: Can you give more information (browser build number, user agent string, etc)?
True, it was an overstatement. It would have been best to state that I have read from others in the forums that it was the worst browser they had used for Duolingo. Good catch! Here is a lingot for being helpful. :)
This issue began once I logged out of my account. Before Duo was working, but only in comparability mode. EDIT: Well, derp. I took it out of compatibility mode, and here I am. Thank for the help (and the occasion for me to realize the issue!)
That's 100% wrong. By definition, "out of date" means that the version is not the latest.
