Anybody have an idea of what "Star Wars" is in Spanish?
Warning: there should be (at least) two versions of the dubbed movie, the Mexican one and the European Spanish. Some other Spanish-related languages have their own version (Gallego, an I assume also Catalan). Besides the trivia, the two Spanish versions have different accents, different little things... for instance (always found it funny) R2D2 is called Arturito in Mexico. If you read R2D2 aloud sounds a bit like Arturito (do it fast) and this is the diminutive for Arturo (Arthur). The less creative European Spanish version uses the Spanish reading for R2D2. Also the light sabre is called "laser sabre" and stuff like that. Have a good laugh.
The tittles are: La guerra de las Galaxias. (Episode 4) El imperio contraataca. (Episode 5) El retorno del Jedi. (Episode 6)
