Usagi! :D I love that video! (Naturally) ;D

PS Te form is integral to Japanese. (Referencing your "tabete" comment in the video. It often comes with various forms following such as "Tabete kudasai" (please eat), "Tabeteimasu" (eating), "Tabete moii desu ka" (may I eat?), "Tabe te ha(wa)ikemasen" (You may not eat--said by someone of higher authority, never in reverse.). Hopefully you will explore more in future videos because it is so helpful. Thanks for posting! ^_^

if anyone has any basic questions on the language, I am going on a 102 class for Japanese at my college and we have already learns most of the sentence format and so on. Also, im sure I would be able to find it easily enough in my textbook :)

Hey, so I'm just learning (doing hiragana and katakana together, rather than separately!) But what text book do they use on your course? I'm trying to teach myself so a good textbook could be useful

Thanks for these, PrincessChi! Many people here are wanting to learn Japanese and these will help. Though I do have a question to ask, and keep in mind I know nothing of the language... What is the difference between the two and when are they used?

I am not 100% sure but the second one (katakana) is used for words borrowed from other languages (usually english) e.g Kaado means card, sounds like the english, spelled with katakana.

Yes, most often katakana is used for writing non-Asian loan words. (So, words borrowed from China will still be written in hiragana.) :)

PS These are adorable!!! Thank you for sharing :D (I saw a Totoro in there! I have a Totoro background on my phone xD)
