How is it different from nodig hebben? Can they be used exchangeably?
behoefte hebben = to have the need (for/to)
nodig hebben = to need
I want to know if : " Our country is in need for peace. " is incorrect.
I think it is either "is in need of" or "has a need for", but not "is in need for".
'has need of' should also be an acceptable translation.
THX Simius, I understand now . : )
