Started new Language, no longer Tracking Streaks
I decided to start learning Spanish (for real world practical reasons) after a long stint with German so I let my German streak end and I started up on Spanish a day later. However for the first few days it was alright and counting my streak (I even purchased a streak wager) however now it randomly says that I am on a Zero day streak and that I lost my wager... and every day it resets my streak to zero. Is there something I need to alter on my account settings or is this an error with Duolingos service?
edit: My account was opened on MDT and was working as intended as long as I practiced german. I access duolingo and have checked my streak from multiple devices including an android phone (app), an Apple laptop not sure what OS what running Chrome, and two different PCs using windows 7 with either chrome or firefox. I am seeing neither a language specific streak nor an over all streak for my account. Every day since I started spanish it has said I am starting a 1 day streak but on the following day I was have no streak.

Which timezone were you in when you opened your account? Your Streak cycle should still be tuned to that account. Also, what devices are you reading your streak from? Is it all website, or is it through apps as well. I'm not with tech, but they usually want to know what operating system and browser you're using (For example I'm on windows7/chrome .)

EDIT: Sorry, that link will take you to the FAQ opening page. I'm having a hard time with the direct links at the moment. So, from where you end up with that link, just stay in the General tab, expand the Contents menu, and click on the entry for Streaks. :)

:) (Oh, but please note that the staff members are very very busy with a backlog of stuff. So, this could take some time to fix. Meanwhile, it is possible that your time zone got buggy. So, while you are waiting, you could try backing it up an hour to see what happens, if that doesn't work, back it up another hour etc.
