"Do you see the blue areas?"
Translation:Você vê as áreas azuis?
Yeah, I'd like to know too if zonas would be acceptable as well?
Yup, but "enxergar" is the ability of seeing something in a difficult moment, or something that is difficult to be seen, or something might be blocking your view, that stuff.... "its so foggy! Você consegue enxergar algo?"
I can see clearly now the rain is gone. = Eu posso enxergar agora, a chuva deixou ???
Better = "eu consigo enxergar agora, a chuva passou." / "eu consigo ver (bem) agora, a chuva se foi". (But "passou" works better).
Sorry for butting in. Thanks for the useful definition of "enxergar". The problem is it seems contradictory to use it to translate "I can see clearly ...". Is that why you gave the alternative answer with "ver" or do both work? If "enxergar" works too then there is more to this verb than meets the eye. :-)
Although you may hear enxergar here, a more common way would be just using "ver". I tried enxergar to show mdmitchell how his version could work.
How about ohla? "você ohla as áreas azuis? " Is that wrong to say?
