I want to read a Spanish book, but I'm not done with my tree

I really want to read a one of my favorite books in Spanish, but I am not done with my tree. I can't wait to finish my tree. that is a long time away. then I will never be able to. But if a read the book now, it might help me on a Duolingo and make my doing skills on my tree go by faster . don't know to do. help!!!

No need to wait. It'll take more effort, but there is no rule that says you have to finish your tree before doing other learning activities. People often use other resources while completing their tree. :)

Get a book and read it. ;) You can get a book in two languages, or a book and a dictionary, and forge ahead. I started with "Goosebumps" books for kids 10 years old or so.

Comics are great because they use common words, there are pictures to aid the plot and there is often both first person speech and narration.

I like to read Fairy tales just in Spanish and read Harry Potter with an English reference.

Yes :) But watch out for picture books. Some (a lot) are at the parent's reading level because it is expected that a parent will read to the kid. Look for books aimed at grade-schoolers, what they call chapter books. I've been skimming the Spanish version of the "Magic Treehouse books", because the writing isn't difficult, but I still learn new words.
