I am doing French from English and noticed that the lessons don't always contain all of the words you are supposed to learn in that lesson. "No problem", I thought, since I always repeat them 3-5x anyway and go back to review later. However, now that I am going back and reviewing early (easier) lessons, I've learned that sometimes the words just don't come up. I just did the 4th "animals" lesson three times over to see if I could change it up, but it was the same words and even seemed to be identical (or nearly identical) lessons. The words souris, fourmi and baleine never showed up even once. I am, however, now an expert on "Je suis un papillon", "J'aime le zoo" and "Un insecte est un animal", having done them in every possible lesson format. ;)
Is it common to skip that many words within a single lesson? Am I doing something wrong?
I'll take a peak at the incubator. I just did the 4th animals lesson and experienced the same thing as you. I also practiced the animals skill, and whale, ant, mouse were some of the first words I saw.
Edit: Tried it a second time, no mouse/ant/whale, but the sentences exist and are active in the incubator. Not sure what's going on.
Third time, those three words still didn't come up. Here's what the incubator looks like:
All words are there, even 5 sentences for whale. ThanKwee also tried the lesson and experienced the same issues.
Thanks for bringing this up lc_sar. I'll bring it to staff's attention. Hopefully only a small glitch.
I'm sure I've seen them before, but I can't remember if it was in the lesson or while practicing a skill. I also do some on my iPad so it may have been with the iOS app.
Great tip on using the "strengthen skills" option - that worked well and I saw words that I had missed on earlier lessons too (bee and spider among them). I will add doing some "strength" workouts to my usual lesson review. :)
