Good point. That said, I find the whole reference to the sun's temperature rather irrelevant. Certainly not a common Dutch comparison/expression.
Although I guess people will understand what somebody tries to say when comparing to the "sun's surface" tempature...

I would beg to differ on the sun not having a surface BTW, but that may depend on how you define 'surface'.
