How likely am I to get a response?

I wrote to the admin (or whoever answers the contact us form) regarding my streak feeze not working. I purchased one from the lingot store and it didnt freeze my streak. Ive been reset to 0 days! Why is this? I shouldn't have been reset at all, but just in case I also had the freeze as a backup.

While you did purchase a streak freeze on 9-12, you missed activity on 9-16 so your freeze was used to maintain your streak through that gap. You did not purchase another streak freeze after it was used. That gap in your activity is as follows:

  • 2014-09-17 09:09:23 · es practice (9-17)
  • 2014-09-15 22:50:24 · es practice (9-15)

More recently, there was no activity for 9-22 - see below:

  • 2014-09-23 22:01:51 · es practice (9-23)
  • 2014-09-22 04:24:08 · es practice (9-21)
  • 2014-09-20 21:48:12 · es practice (9-20)

Your timezone is set to America/Los_Angeles, -0700 - if that is not where you are currently located that may explain the discrepancy.


I really think this information should be shown near the streak icon (or somewhere) whenever a user loses a streak. It seems to me that the staff spends unnecessary time explaining something that seems to be the users' fault.

I also did send a support feedback suggesting that perhaps the current timezone should be shown in a users' profile.


I'm not understanding why it didn't register my activity since it shows on my end that there was activity. I even received an email on both of those days telling me to continue my streak. "you're on fire, blah blah blah"
