can't progress from food

i finished basics 2 and phrases and am up to food and animals in french. After i complete lesson 1 of either food or animal i get sent back to practice basic 2 without progressing food or animal. i've completed both of them 3 times so any help?

I just tested your account and everything seems to be working correctly. Can you not do the next lesson in Food?

i kinda fixed it, i can progress to the next level if i complete it online and after that it's fine. But sometimes, i get stuck on my phone and i can't progress any further on the android app and i have to complete that level online again.
