"Mændene i min familie har alle været i flåden."

Translation:The men in my family have all been in the navy.

September 30, 2014

I first translated this as, "the men in my family have all been in the flood," and my brain went off in a strange direction: "Son, being in the flood is a rite of passage in this family. It's very important to me that you also have been in the flood."

Didn't accept "The men in my family, has all been in the navy." I wrote has instead of have.

I wrote: All of the men in my family has been in the navy. Maybe I'm missing some nuance. Where did I go wrong?

Du burde skrive "have" i stedet for "has."
