Ouch, rough one. I missed a day by about that margin when I was at 150 or so. Luckily I had a streak freeze from the shop, which saved me big time.

Keep in mind though, that you've still got all the Spanish you've learned over the last 2 months. Duo can't take that away, no matter how many minutes late you are. Keep your head up, you'll make it back there in no time :)

Not exactly no time. It's 60 days :)) But you mentioned something nice. it's the things you've learned that matter.

I lost my first streak of 86 days by missing day 87, then restarted and am now at 220, so technically I am 306 for 307. My advice, keep a streak freeze in place at all times, do Doble o Nada all the time, and as you build up a long streak youll cash in on lingots. For practicing today I got 22 lingots for going from 219 to 220, it pays out every multiple of ten days. I have 250 lingots currently. I use them for heart refills etc during the week, then every 7th and 10th day - tada!!! cash! But the trick is practice every day. On the web version almost everything counts towards the streak (general reinforce practice, section reinforcement, or your current lessons down the tree) I have noticed the phone version only counts current lessons towards the streak. And at all costs use a Protector de racha.

Wow, thank you for mentioning that streaks give lingots... I thought they were just for competing against friends. I don't have much Lingots, but I give you One for mentioning it:D thanks again:))

Another thing I wanted to ask someone is that how do these timed practices work? I bought one, but can't find a way to use it. I would be really thankful if you answered me.

timed practice should be enabled by default, or it is in my account when I first started on DL. I have never done timed practice, but usually it asks you as you start a lesson if you want to be timed or not.

I've just found out how it works. Not all the lessons are timed. You can use timed practices only when strengthening the skills. It is also not given to you by default (I don't know about old accounts). You should buy them with lingots (10 lingots) and once you buy them they work unlimitedly.

P.S. : thanks for answering.
