I only started Duolingo recently, but I have done some work with Italian before. I'm confused: in other language programs I have heard Grazie pronounced with a slight T sound with the Z (Grat-zie, if you will), but with Duolingo I hear a slight lift on the E (Grat-zi-eh). Am I hearing things, is this a difference in dialect, or is one unanimously correct?

Thanks! (If this is confusing, spiacente!)

Hi Sarkesian! the proper way to pronounce "grazie" is to pronounce every vowel. Like Spanish, Italian does not waste vowels when it comes to pronunciation.

So like Gra-zee-eh?
