Is you are a chicken an insult in Danish like in English
Would I also use kylling for a live chicken, or is this only for the food chicken?
EDIT - Got an answer from my Dane friend. Yes, it's for both! :D
yep! :) Just chicken in general.
Nobody calls me a chicken, Biff, nobody! 21/10/15
Hahaa. Back to the future Film.
The best ever!
Today is the day :)
I love those movies
So do I! :)
it's so nice it's pronounced as it is spelled uff (yes Swedish, I'm looking at you and your kycklingen)
Thanks for the swedish word! Now I found the connection to the german word - not to "Huhn" (chicken) but to "Küken" (young chicken). Makes it easier to remember!
OTOH, after spending so long with Swedish and Norwegian, it's weird not having the soft 'k'. It looks like the Norwegian, but it doesn't sound like the Norwegian...
Lol... "killing" >.<
