Good at translating from Spanish to English--need help with the other way around.

Hi everyone. I am nearly finished with my Spanish tree, and I have come to a realization: I excel at understanding Spanish text that is written or spoken to me, but I still have not gotten over that 'hump' of being able to think or speak in Spanish.

Does anyone have suggestions on a program that largely has the user translate from English to Spanish?

You can do it here at Duolingo. Doing the reverse tree (English for Spanish speakers) will unlock immersion for translating into Spanish. Some of us do it (I'm native Spanish doing immersion in the Spanish course in order to further improve my English).

Keep in mind that being able to think in the language you are learning is not something that happens in two or three months, it really takes time. Try to "immerse" yourself in the language as much as you can. Change your phone language, your computer, being active in the forums here is also a good way of improving since people is always helping others. In the end DL is just a great tool to start but fully learning a language is something that takes time and effort.

Your English is amazing! There is one thing though... people is a plural subject/noun, so the verb -is should be -are because the subject is already plural so the verb can't be plural also. ;)
