Why not: Jeg tænkte at jeg havde mistede dig.?

  1. You use tænke if you think about things, as in imagining something. (Jeg tænker om min bedstemor. - I think about my grandmother.) Tro is for beliefs and doubts. (Jeg tro det er nok. - I think that is enough.)
  2. Mistede is simple past, but you need the participle here.


Is it possible to suppress "at", like we may do in English (I thought I had lost you - Jeg troede jeg havde mistet dig) ?
