What is the difference between "por" and "para" ?
I know both of them are used as "for". but I don't know when I should use which one. Many of my sentences get wrong because of it.Please explain :)
Yes! Memorizing examples is fine, but if you can really understand the difference, it will help you so much more. The linked video is a personal favorite.
Similar to the video, I think of para as a "stop" and por like "pour (water)". Para generally has an end point, a por has more of a flowing quality.
i agree that was a great video. thanks! lightspeed spanish looks like a great resource :)
