I agree. Never having heard of this word I looked it up in my online dictionary. It said: (anatomy) a comb structure. Not terribly enlightening.

The correction says, that ragazze translates just "girls" not "children", whereas in another sentence "figli" can mean "sons" and "children".
Not logic - or gender-blind?
