Has anyone else experienced large jumps in points using the android app?

There have been several occasions lately where I have done some lessons on the android app then been surprised by how much my points have increased. I look at my stream and think "I can't have done that many lessons in such a short time".

15 minutes ago I set out to do 4 lessons to return a particular skill to full strength, and noted my score prior to starting. After completion my score should have increased by 45. When I checked on the website my score had increased by 241?!

The last two notifications in my stream report that I did 20 lessons (for 201 points) and 14 lessons (for 141 points).

Something really odd is going on here. I don't mind points, but I'd rather earn them honestly.

EDIT (5 mins later): And now that that 20 lesson notification now says 18 lessons (for 181 points) instead. My total score remains unchanged.

EDIT 2: (45 mins later): Make that 15 lessons (for 151 points). It seems each new notification in my stream reduces the number of lessons it said I did by 1.

EDIT 3: Have just done a couple of lessons on website. Score increased as it should. Did one lesson on the android app scoring 12 points, but total score increased by 60.

EDIT 4: Another lesson on android. Score should have increased by 11, but increased by 55.

We just figured out the problem. This will be fixed soon.

Hi Luis, in case you weren't aware I don't think the problem has been completely solved. When I do lessons from the skills on the android app I am now seeing the expected increase in score. If I instead select "practice" from the menu on the home screen then I get given around 5 times the amount of points I should.

This has happened to me as well. Just now I got 132 points for one practice lesson on the app. Serious bug! I hope you find the error soon.

Are you switching apps or turning off your screen in the middle of a lesson?

sometimes yes, sometimes no. In the cases when I posted this discussion, it's a no.

Could you still let us know the answer to these questions?

My internet lagged real bad yesterday due to a thunderstorm and this happened to me. It lagged out at the end waiting for confirmation that the practice was completed. I ended up getting 50 or so points instead of the normal 10ish.

I have also had this happen.
