Could this also be translated as 'i will return in the next week'
If not, how would you write that (perhaps would use a translation for '..within the next week' instead?)
Yeah, that is "eu retornarei/voltarei na próxima semana"
Qual é mais comum no Brasil, "na próxima semana" ou "na semana que vem"?
For me "semana que vem" seems to be more common, but both ways are used a lot!
"I will return the next week",
"I will return in the next week",
"I'll come back the next week",
THEY ARE ALL MARKED AS WRONG.
I don't understand, can someone explain this to me?
Eu disse, "Eu vou voltar na próxima semana" Mas foi marcado errado?
It's also right.
so according to Paul Enrique, "i will return in the next week" should be marked as correct?
That's very uncommon English. (At least where I live). It's just more common to say I will return next week.
I agree with MSBRAZ and PAULENRIQUE that the translation could 'I will return (in) the next week' should also be marked as correct.
An example would be 'I am going to England on 10 January and I will return the next week'.
