Unfair Spanish Progress Quiz!

I spent 25 lingots on the Spanish progress quiz and duo didn't tell me that questions will be based on the entire course. I was expecting it to be based just on what I learnt till now. After a few questions, I had to quit because I was hearing words that I never learnt!

It includes information from the entire Duolingo course. Otherwise how could it measure your progress? The idea is to take the quiz and see how well you do early on. Maybe you'll get a 0.6/5.0 Then take it in a month and maybe you'll get a 1.3/5.0. Then take it at the six month mark, maybe you'll have 2.82/5.0, and so on.

Next time you take it, don't quit part way through. You'll get a more accurate score and the next one will more accurately reflect your progress.

I agree that Duolingo should add a disclaimer (Even though Irtward makes a solid point, it just doesn't occur to many people to contemplate it fully before spending their lingots. A disclaimer would fix this, at least for those who take the time to read it). Here are some lingots towards recovering the 25. I recommend heading over to the WIKI and using the search bar there whenever you're not sure about how something works before spending lingots on it. :)

PS I recommend the Timed Practice.

Do not quit the test. You have too much of a perfectionist mindset right now. I believe everyone should take it as soon as possible without looking anything up. Then take it again when your tree is finished...and look at how that number has grown!

I thought it was a quiz I purchased and could take multiple times. I wasted my 25 lingots. :(

I understand. Thanks for the explanation, friends, especially Irtward. Though a disclaimer, as suggested Usagiboy7 would be a good way to tackle it.
